The course is comprised of extensive study of media theory and practical work which integrates theories and concepts as well as production techniques. Students will be given the chance to study across a range of different media as well as the opportunity to learn about real media products and industries. Controlled Assessments will be selected from a wide range of tasks including advertising, the promotion of television programmes, music videos, film trailers, newspapers and magazines. Students will study the following topics:
- Website Design
- Advertising and Marketing
- Cross-media Study
- Promotion of film (including trailers)
